ASH – Ash is a genus of flowering plants in the olive and lilac family, Oleaceae. OAK – Oak has great strength and hardness, and is very resistant to insect and fungal attack because of its high tannin content. It also has very appealing grain markings, particularly when quarter sawn.

SAPELE – Sapele is a golden dark reddish brown medium density tropical hardwood from the Sapele tree, found in tropical Africa. It is a genus of eleven species of deciduous trees and is part of the Meliaceae family.
